Spectacular French dining table with inlaid stone top and scrolled iron base.  We found this unique handmade table hiding in France and in all probability the top and base were made separately and put together beautifully. The incredible scrolled iron base with its brass finials supports the top with ease. The top is a work of art - every piece of stone was hand cut and inlaid to produce this "pietre dure" masterpiece. Outstanding examples of this art form are a rarity and this one is in very nice condition with slight bowing on top. It could be used in a dining room, kitchen or even outside on the patio or next to the pool. France, 21st century
