A Louis Philippe armoire in beautifully figured crotch mahogany with a molded doucine cornice above two long fitted doors, which open to reveal ample storage space. Torus block feet anchor a raised plinth with hidden drawer.  The dimesions show include the crown, the body of the armoire is 50" wide and 19" deep. Circa 1850, France.
