Antique French hand made copper cauldron with original hand wrought iron bail-form handle. This outstanding vessel retains its original patina and has a dip in the bottom from being used over a fire for more than a 100 years. Though it still could be used for cooking or laundry, they are usually polished and used as planters, log holders or refreshment coolers. France, early 19th
