Antique Louis Philippe style chest of drawers in book-matched burled walnut. The original marble top with ribbed detail overhangs the graduated molding at the top of the dresser. The top drawer, which has molding decoration, sits above the three plain-fronted lower drawers, all hand dove-tailed; the front canted corners reflect the angle of the five-sided front feet and an elegant touch is added with the scalloped apron on this otherwise clean-lined piece.
