Antique French farmhouse dining table recently found in Ireland and imported to Chicago. Among all the French farm dining tables we import, by far and away the tapered leg design is the most desirable French farm table. This style of French dining table tends to be made from cherry wood, but this antique French farm table was constructed from white oak and primarily is a quartered-sawn and rift-cut oak. Upon the antique French farm tables arrival, we found the condition to be quite stable and after a thorough washing and waxing, very little needed to be attended to. We are dating this antique French farm table from the late 1800’s and that concurs what the expert in Ireland thought as well. Note the convenient small drawer in the apron.
