Antique French Buffet Ebonized with Brass Trim

Antique French buffet, that just came out of our old plank restoration department and its age, has been a bit of a mystery. When we starting to rebuild the carcass (body), you could clearly see that this was a really old antique French buffet, but the drawers were clearly newer. So, we believe that someone in the past, restored the drawers to this antique French buffet, but did not pay a lot of attention to the rest of this antique French buffet. Our old plank workshop, started from the bottom up and completely and correctly restored this antique French ebonized buffet to a very nice standard. The trim is real, brass, wrapped over a wood form and gives this French buffet a bit of life. The marble top, has not been broken and is unusual in that it’s not white.
