French Maison Jansen or Directoire style coffee table that in our home, might more accurately be described as a cocktail table. This particular Maison Jansen or Directoire style coffee table, is just another creative product from our Old Plank Collection and with all of our items, can be special ordered in any size or finish. Optionally, you can order the coffee table with Louis XVI style fluted legs, This particular example was constructed from mahogany and executed in an old school ebonized finish, which allows the grain of the mahogany to show and the brown undertones of the natural wood to peek through the layers of black and brown stains. The trim around the coffee tabletop is made from solid brass, as are the sabots (feet). The trim at the top of the coffee table legs has been hand-gilded and is a no-cost option. In this particular French Maison Jansen style coffee table or cocktail table, we have darkened the brass for a more subtle appearance. You can order your Old Plank coffee table in any shape or size.
