Suroy Industrial Cart on Wheels or Movable Bar Cart
Vintage Item1920’s-1940’s original Suroy Industrial mobile storage and work surface on wheels. By 1853 the industrial textile revolution arrived in Loos, France with the creation of the Esquermes factory. Alfred Thiriez formed a factory that made cotton thread and Suroy was born from the need to provide robust containers that could store and transport raw materials. The Suroy industrial mobile cart (bar cart) was built from a dusty earth red vulcanized/boiled card material with wood reinforcements. When we look at a mobile Industrial cart like this, we immediately think bar cart and I guess it could have something to do with our past, not that we’re big drinkers or anything. Great industrial looking and fully functional bar cart of if you insist, tea cart?
