Vintage French Leather Club Chairs, produced by the French firm of HUGUES CHEVALIER of Paris, who also made the furniture for Cartier’s Head Office in Paris. Mr. Hugues Chevalier designs were inspired from the Art Deco period and this particular pair of French Leather Club Chairs are a near copy from the original 1930’s classic French Club Chair. Our Old Plank upholstery department disassembled both Leather Club Chairs and went about restoring the insides of both Club Chairs. We debated, whether or not to restore the color of the club chairs and in the end, we did restore the color in our leather finishing department. Old Plank has been importing French Art Deco Leather Club Chairs for over 30-years The leather is original.
