Vintage Pair of French Leather Club Chairs Restored Internally Original Leather

French Leather Club Chairs Restored Internally to a very high standard using nothing but all school materials, like horsehair and shredded coco fiber for padding and tying the coil springs in 8-different directions by hand and reinforcing the leather from the backside to strengthen. This particular pair of French Leather Club Chairs are still about 90% in their Original Leather covering. Had our inhouse Old Plank Upholstery Department simply recovered the chairs in new leather, we could have probably saved 20-hours of labor, but then they would have looked new. Each chair requires about 40-hours in restoration when you start from the wood frame on up to the leather covering. We typically cut wood corner blocks for the frame while we clamp and glue it, before starting the laborious rebuilding of the Club Chair. Nothing is left untouched and when executed properly, they feel like your favorite pair of old leather shoes, where you sit into the Club Chair and not on the Club Chair as you do with a new reproduction.
