Vintage Pair of French Sconces Wrapped Thread and Rope Details

Certainly, the most unique and beautiful pair of French sconces we have had in the past 30-years. Probably French made and most likely in the 1920--1930’s, with incredible workmanship by the most highly skilled craftsmen. The attention to detail and the amount of hours having to create these French sconces, without the aid of modern machinery, must have been insurmountable and I dread to think what this pair of antique French sconces would cost today.
*Please note the fabric is discolored in many areas. There are also areas of tattered fabric. Image 12 shows a missing decoration on the left.
