Antique English copper lantern. that was removed from the Birmingham, England Railroad Station many years ago. This particular antique English copper lantern, was originally gas lite and our in house, Old plank electrical department, converted it to electricity and chose to do so, with a large mogul socket, which allows for up to a 500 watt bulb. In purchasing antiques for over 25 years, I have never seen an antique lantern this large. We have (1) additional matching antique copper English lantern, all from the same railroad station, that can be purchased.
