Antique French 19th Century Limed Wardrobe or Armoire with European Imported Chicken Wire Inserts for the doors. We have owned this Antique French Wardrobe or French Armoire for several years and could never decide how to restore it. Typically, these were originally sold as part of a bedroom suite and would have had mirror door inserts. Restoring it back to original would have been too easy for us, so we upped the game by liming the armoire and instead of replaced the broken mirror opted to install some imported wire in the doors. The interior was painted a traditional French green that we've used for years and then aged the paint. Finally, we installed a brass rod to hang your cloths or coats from. 

France, 1880-1889.

Condition: Good. Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. We completely restored the armoire.
