Antique French Trumeau Mirror with a Great Patina, also defines that Shabby Chic look. This is a completely unrestored Antique French Trumeau probably made in the late 1800's and could use some restoration, but there are some out there, such as ourselves who loved the originality of this Trumeau and they are only original once. Because the bottom of the mirror is straight across it was probably built to be placed over a fireplace mantle. Not sure that was its resting spot because there is no evidence of soot of any kind on the mirror, which is always the immediate giveaway. Great look for a very reasonable price.

France, 1880-1920

Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. Unrestored. It was restored to the point of not losing anything. That doesn't mean that the restoration isn't visible. Please refer to images 8 and 9. 

**Depth was taken at the crown. The body is 1" deep.
