Antique 18th century Italian painted and carved wood candlestick, with a few hints of gilding still remaining. There are small patches of the original putty grey paint and the underlying white gesso showing, along with other areas on the candlestick where the finish has completely worn off. Please note old worm holes and a slight tilt, easily taken care of with a small shim. We think it give the antique Italian candlestick some character.
