Bielecky Brothers Wicker Suite including their Sofa style number W630, a Bielecky Wicker Love Chair, Style number 8430 with its matching Ottoman Style number W8007, plus a pair of Bielecky Wicker Chairs. I have to confess that it’s been years, no make that decades since I last sat in a Wicker Chair and I was shocked how comfortable they can be. Our Set of 5-Pieces of American, New York made Wicker Furniture were manufactured by the famous Bielecky Brothers of Woodside NY, who first began building Wicker Furniture back in 1903. Andrew and Conrad Bielecky emigrated from Poland to New York in 1903 and began weaving Wicker Chairs. By the 1920’s Bielecky were one of the first to make custom Wicker Furniture for the Interior Design trade. The “American Home Decorating Show” of 1951 Bielecky attracted the attention of Billy Baldwin who created the “wrapped cane” furniture. Later by 1979, Angelo Donghia found he could restyle and adapt these designs for Ralph Lauren’s new home, thus creating an additional line of Rattan for the Bielecky Brothers Company. Please note that none of the 5-pieces are perfect and all are in nice original condition and clearly usable as is, although it definitely is time for some new fabric. There are some cracks in the wicker and a few missing components to each piece. Please look carefully and the Bielecky Brothers do offer full restoration services for those who desire perfection.

Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Not perfect by any means, but still very nice and all original. The fabric is probably original and past its lifetime. Please pay close attention to all photos for condition. Image 10 shows the most worn part of all the pieces. The fabric is torn and stained.

**Measurements provided are for the sofa and its seat height is 16". The single armchair is 32" high, 16" seat height, 33" wide and 36.5" deep. The pair of armchairs are 29" and 28.5" high, 15.5" seat height, 31.5" wide and 35" deep. The ottoman is 16.5" high and 25.5" square.
