Copied verbatim from an original antique commode we had for sale, a design firm commissioned our workshop to duplicate the original as a smaller version for the opposite side of the bed. Constructed of solid mahogany with time-honored old world techniques and craftsmanship, this fine nightstand will easily live on to antique/heirloom status. Authentic handmade period correct solid brass feet, drawer moldings, pulls and escutcheons are all specially commissioned for this outstanding, petite and noble commode. The striking ebonized black finish is hand applied and rubbed many times to achieve this “just right” appearance.
