The elmwood top was imported from France and is reportedly about 60-years old and we were fortunate enough to be able to purchase several slabs. The Mid-Century Modern steel base, is formed locally in Chicago for us and could be painted, or cold bronze-plated? The base structures are extremely heavy and strong as a rock.
