Constructed in our Chicago workshop from reclaimed very wide planks of white oak. Our Country French inspired dining tables are made from the floor joists of old corn cribs. Each board ranges from 2.75” to 3" thick before machining and they make for a beautiful antique inspired French farm table. The style is an exact copy of an 18th farm table we used to have in stock and fell in love with it, so much so that we copied it almost 30-years ago and have been making the Country French dining table ever since. The entire base of the trestle are cut from antique white oak beams and are therefore not thin boards just glued up to look solid.
