French Leather Club Chairs and like most of the very early French Club Chairs the original seat cushions were made with down filled Velvet and not leather. Our "near" pair of Club Chairs were completely disassembled and rebuilt internally using old school methods and no foam rubber. We strictly use horsehair and shredded coco fibers for padding, although in this case we did add more down feathers to the velvet cushions. Although these French Leather Club Chairs are narrow in size, they are quite comfortable even for us slightly larger folks. We find the style to be a seamless blend of Arts and Craft and Art Deco which has always been one of our personal favorites. Exceedingly rare to find a pair this nice today, especially with their old velvet cushions still intact and as all down filled cushions, extreme comfort comes without question. Our main objective, was to completely rebuild the chairs and make them appear as though no one touched them and I think we were successful.

Condition: Good. Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Both chairs were completely restored internally, while leaving as much of the exterior original as possible. The object was to make the chairs look as though no one touched them. The springs in the back of the larger chair have left impressions, visible in images 16 and 18.

**Please note that the measurements provided are for the chair on the left. The chair on the right is a little smaller, but deeper. It measures 34" high, 17" seat height, 26" wide and 31.75" deep. The seat height for the chair on the left is 18.5 in (46.99 cm).
