Original antique French Louis XIII style (or Os de Mouton) throne chair with stylish carved details including figural dog armrests. This spectacular chair would be perfect next to the fireplace, behind the desk in the home study, or for the host at the head of the dining table. The frame is in very nice original condition. Our in house Old Plank workshop has properly rebuilt the frame and re-upholstered the padding using horsehair. The chair needs upholstery which can be done in-house, please email or call us for details. France, circa 1880.

Condition: Good. Wear consistent with age and use. structurally restored waiting for new upholstery.
