This hand-woven French inspired club chair with matching ottoman, is made in our Chicago workshop by some very talented craftsmen, who still take pride in their creations. Since we own the original circa 1910-1920 French club chairs, it did not take long for us to figure out a way to faithfully reproduce the club chair, although we did bend and built it to American dimensions. The interior of the French inspired woven leather club chair is executed the old-fashion way, by hand-tying the coil springs and using genuine horsehair for padding. Thick leather straps are vegetable tanned. and hand colored by our finishing department, using a combination of waxes and various dyes to thoroughly penetrate the leather. Finally, a second application of a special protective clear-coat is hand rubbed into the leather in order to seal and protect the antique finish.

Ottoman measures 16" high, 22" wide and 19" deep.
