Pair of Antique English Copper Lanterns that were removed from the Birmingham, England Railroad Station many years ago. This particular Pair of Antique English Copper Lanterns were originally gas lite and our in home for many years. Our Old Plank electrical department, converted it to electricity and chose to do so, with a large mogul socket, which allows for up to a 500 watt bulb. In purchasing antiques for over 25 years, we have never seen Antique Copper Lantern of this scale before and they do make one heck of a statement. Currently the copper has begun to tarnish and is quite a bit darker than these images we had taken a while ago. You can have them either way, for we are happy to polish the Copper Lanterns again or take them as is?

Condition: Good. Rewired: Lanterns were originally gas light and our in house, Old plank electrical department, converted it to electricity and chose to do so, with a large mogul socket, which allows for up to a 500 watt bulb. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Re-wired for American mogul bulbs.
