Old Plank’s Armchair Covered in the Finest Shearling Imported from New Zealand. If there was ever a chair that could put a smile on one’s face, this is that chair. Not only does our shearling armchair bring joy, but sitting on the 25mm or 1-inch long Shearling fiber is an incredible experience and difficult to put into words. We have been building chairs, restoring French club chairs for over 30-years and this shearling chair is in a field all its own. Our Old Plank custom Shearling upholstered Armchair was made in house from the finest all natural materials such as; horsehair, shredded coco fiber, cotton, down feathers and NO foam rubber. Coil springs were tied in 8-directions by hand and everything was strictly executed using old school methods. The Shearling alone required 80-man hours to artfully hand-stitch 12-individual sheep hides together in order to make the seams disappear.
