Pair of hand-made very unusual solid brass sconces that were removed from The John Rogerson Montgomery House, a residence designed by famous local architect Howard Van Doren Shaw. It is considered to be a significant example of Georgian Revival architecture mixed with Arts & Crafts influences constructed in 1908-1909. The house where the sconces came from is listed on The National Register of Historic Places. The beautifully executed hand-made solid brass sconces are in working condition and are over 100-years old.
**Missing both decorative screws in the middle.
