After spending days trying researching our set of Rattan Furniture, the Ritts Company of Los Angeles is our hypothesis and even then, we cannot be 100% positive. The Rattan frames were typically made in Indonesia and the upholstery was installed in the states. Our three-piece suite of Rattan, incorporating the Rattan Sofa, matching Rattan Chair and Coffee Table were made around 1960 and after over 60-years of use the rattan Sofa still retains its original fabric covering. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the Single Rattan Chair, whose fabric had to be replaced, but does blend seamlessly with the old Rattan Sofa's fabric. Shirley Ritts (1920–2008) was an interior designer whose company helped make popular Rattan Furniture during the 1950s and 1960s. Shirley benefited from the popularity of Rattan Furniture post-World War II and Herb Ritts was the furniture designer. Post WWII, new homes in America were built with a sun room which was a perfect place to install your Rattan Furniture. **Measurements provided are for the sofa. The chair is 31.25" high, 18" seat height, 22.5" wide and 33" deep. The coffee table is 16.25" high, 30" wide and 29.75" deep. **Please note one seat cushion on the sofa is tattered, image 7. There is also stains and fading from the sun.
