Beautiful Hand-Carved Alabaster Lamp imported from France and Requires rewiring for the US.
The stone, Alabaster comes in several colors, although they then to be mostly white, yellow or orange. The mineral is ideal for carving since it is softer than your typical marble and we believe that this Alabaster may have come from Egypt. In museums, you're likely to see vases and statues carved from the mineral alabaster. The origin of alabaster is a Greek word meaning "perfume vase," alabastros. Egypt, 1950-1959.
