Modern Curio Cabinet that was made right here in America by the Glober Manufacturing Company of Carpentersville, Illinois. The Curio-Cabinet was constructed from solid brass and glass with a mirror back and floor panel and above lighting. The glass shelves have a slight groove should you wish to stand up your decorative plates so that they will not slip. We tried to find some history about Glober, but unfortunately they are no longer in business. The brass seems to have been clear-coated with something very strong, however there still are slight signs of patina showing through the clear-coat. Overall, it must be stated that this curio-cabinet was a high-quality made item.
