Antique Italian Center Hall Table or End Table c1700's Restored Carrara Marble. Now, generally we have no problem in describing an antique table, however when this 200-300 year old table base arrived there was no top and the hand-carved base needed attention and that's putting it lightly. After sitting around the workshop for an extended period of time along came this old carrara marble top and a marriage was made. Now, whether the table base was born in Italy like we think, there is a possibility that France could be an alternative place of birth for the center table or side table. What is not in question is the age of the columns and they clearly are early 1700's. The age of the carrara marble, I have no clue and have never figured out how to determine the age of marble.

Condition: Good. Repaired: Went through extensive restoration. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.
