The Old Plank Exclusive Dining Table was fabricated from solid Bronze, imported French brass trim, walnut and mahogany. This exquisite French Industrial Inspired Dining Table is in stock for immediate delivery, or we can construct a similar custom French Industrial inspired Dining Table/Kitchen Island in your desired dimensions and finish. We admit that we were tempted at first to simply ebonize the wood like everyone else would probably do, however, the more we stared at the beautiful solid bronze base, we began to think about a color that would blend harmoniously with the metals. Our Old Plank finishing department first beached the mahogany and walnut after which they began creating a custom palette of hand-made stains that they would layer up to emulate the warm tones of the bronze. In my very admittedly biased opinion, I think they did an exceptional job in finishing the wood and aging the brass inlays to match the bronze base. This basic industrial design is somewhat similar to a child’s Tinker Toy Set, where we can create kitchen islands, bookcases or virtually anything you can think of using these straightforward and simple components. We can also substitute stainless steel for the bronze and brass connectors for the bronze.
