Reproduced by hand in our very own Old Plank Road Workshop, the pair shown above can be ordered to fit your specific needs. Copied from an authentic antique French buffet, our client wanted a pair to utilize as his and her vanities in a newly remodeled master bath. My guys started with solid mahogany which not only had to be planed but, also received multiple sandings by hand before we could even dream of construction. These were a bit tricky to construct, notice how the front legs are fitted within a glamorous and distinctive column that extends ever so slightly but, makes quite a statement. Once built, we still weren't but about half finished, they continued on to finishing where they received several coats of hand rubbed ebony stain. All the brasses (solid) were custom commissioned just for these two cabinets, the borders of the doors and drawers, the feet and leg rings, even the pulls and escutcheons were all handmade. Due to the fact that these are custom made, you can order most any species wood, and any color paint or stain, as well as most any configuration you can dream up. You design it, we can build it!
