Although these Louis XVI dining chairs were built for a specific designer, we thought that they were exceptional and chose to feature these Louis XVI dining chairs. We offer our French Louis XVI hand-made chairs, in virtually any finish and of course COM, or our standard fare black leather. Should you desire to complete your own Louis XVI chairs, we do sell them broken down into individual components for ease of shipping. Our in-house Old Plank upholstery department, only uses old school techniques, where the seat cushions have 8-way hand-tied coil springs and are padded with horsehair, while the seat backs are padded with shredded coco fibers encased in a wooden frame, that allows the seat back to hold its form. The chairs are priced COM (customers own fabric) or for an extra $100 per chair, we will cover the Louis XVI style chairs in black leather. The painted finish is our Old Plank 9-step process, that comes across looking like an old dirty grey paint. Seat height is 19.25"
